“Look at what you’ve done.” Asher’s voice was harsh and judgmental. “I didn’t mean to!” She yelled back, her voice shaking. Millie’s episode earlier was replaying over and over in her head. Why had she lost it so bad? Her mood swings were regularly out of hand, but today in particular they were magnified times twenty. She just wanted to get to her room, to sleep and forget everything.
Tick. It’s all your fault. Tick. Just give in. Tick. The voices were their right now. They were stronger and louder than ever. Screaming at her, angrily. As Millie moved through the halls of Kingston, she could barely keep herself from crying. She felt empty and alone in that moment, and she knew there was no one to blame but herself.
The thought set her over the edge, and as she got to a corner, she crouched down in it, leaning against one of the walls as her head bowed, the tears breaking passed the barrier of her eyelids. Millie held her chest, crateling it, as if it were about to cave in. “Stop!” She screamed in agony, her stomach wrenched from withdraw.
Viktor was walking down the hall, towards his office. He was still busy unpacking but had been distracted by his…welcome to this place. It had been interesting, to say the least. There were a few patients he wouldn’t mind seeing in his office soon. Wanting to know what made them…tick. It would eat away at him if he didn’t figure it out.
Hearing the girl scream and turning towards the sound, seeing the girl Millie in the corner. Walking over to her with a quick pace and crouching down in front of her. Just because he was slightly crazy, didn’t mean he couldn’t be concerned, that was partially why he wanted to be a doctor. To help people. “Hey. What is it, darling?” He hadn’t had a chance to read everyone’s files yet, so he didn’t know her conditions.
